Discussing the state of Trump’s business on Trump, Inc.

Last month it was honor to appear again on ProPublica and WNYC’s Trump. Inc podcast. This time it was for a half-hour chat with host Andrea Bernstein and David Fahrenthold of The Washington Post about the state of the Trump Organization now that its leader has lost his government side hustle.

And in the past five weeks, I’ve had a few other TV and radio appearances that aren’t available online:

  • spoke with the London-based radio stations LBC and LBC News a few times to report on the recent turmoil in D.C.
  • chatted on WAMU, D.C. public radio, about the future of Trump’s D.C. hotel

New York Times cited 1100 Pennsylvania as a key source for its deep dive on Trump’s D.C. hotel

The New York Times’s blockbuster investigation last fall of how Trump “earned millions as a gatekeeper to his own administration” relied on 1100 Pennsylvania:

“The Swamp That Trump Built” by Nicholas Confessore, Karen Yourish, Steve Eder, Ben Protess, Maggie Haberman, Grace Ashford, Michael LaForgia, Kenneth P. Vogel, Michael Rothfeld, and Larry Buchanan

Other recent articles that cited 1100 Pennsylvania’s reporting on the Trump Organization include

And going back to a previous job, my reporting for Eater Louisville popped up in the book Classic Restaurants of Louisville by Stephen Hacker.

New York Times, New Yorker, MSNBC cited 1100 Pennsylvania’s reporting last week

Last week The New York Times (twice) and The New Yorker referenced 1100 Pennsylvania’s reporting on how Donald Trump is profiting from his presidency. Additionally, I joined MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber on Wednesday and Friday to discuss the topic.

Update Sept. 13, 2019 6:20 p.m.: Yesterday, The Washington Post also cited 1100 Pennsylvania’s reporting in “A nonprofit paid to rent Trump’s D.C. hotel ballrooms. Its headliners: Pence and Pompeo” by David Fahrenthold
